The split

Trauma creates a unique response called "Splitting" where we separate our consciousness our awareness from the part of us we deem abused or guilty depending on the event. It is a rather distressing survival mechanism because we do this "splitting" off into segments unconsciously and it costs us because it's something that doesn't correct on it's own. No, we have to be aware we do this and we have to wrestle our selves back into wholeness. Not easy and impossible without assistance and if you feel like maybe you do this you should get help. One of the first clues is loss of time. We wake up in some cases years later going what have I just been doing? Often we go unassisted and we live entire lifetimes with little or no recollection of events past and it's tragic because awareness comes at the very end, stress filled.

Trauma, abuse anything we deem cataclysmic will set us apart will "split" us.

So if you suspect this is you get help. It is common and easily addressed.
Plus that feeling of "did I do something or say something wrong"? goes away.

We catch up with ourselves we no longer fear our actions.

Everyone deserves to be reunited, everyone deserves to feel safe.

Doncha think most everybody is split to some degree? It's so hard to stay whole day after day in a world of split people. There outta be free clinics on every street to walk in and get whole, then we'd be fine.

Maybe that's why bars are popular.
A few drinks can change you without much work...too bad it wears off.

Yes we all suffer from it one way or another. What is most frightening is that there usually isn't a frame (an understanding) a way to recognize this...with out help.

Yes, I know, but good help is hard to find now in my experience at least.
What type of practitioner do you recommend? Too many are reluctant to go all out, it seems. Wholeness scares people. They can be comfortable with 'splits' who are predictable and unchanging.
I don't like it and haven't given up...but almost.

Society at-large encourages this "splitting" (as you very appropriately call it) to a high degree. The somewhat cyncial conspiracy theorist within me believes that it's done as a method of keeping people in check; as a means of preventing too many individually empowered souls from being present and in the mix at any given time.

Heaven forbid that we should all be awake together.....

The split is further reinforced and nourished by such things as constantly jarring news and media references (which are ALWAYS lopsided in favour of the negative), the societal preference for the individual's reliance upon "expert" advice to solve one (and thus aid in removing one from the responsibility and joy of solving oneself), etc.

Heaven forbid that we should all be awake together.....

there is no frame of refference really...most people don't know whats going on inside why there feeling the feelings there feeling well not immediately anyway...it takes time and reflection before 1 becomes aware of what the reason may be....i agree some one else like a professional therapist a good 1 if found can really assist.there are some days where i feel down for no apparent reason...i think it may have something to do with the human evolevement our development..it takes us time to figure things out..we dont just suddenly have the answer in most cases

Those who practice the most supreme (and/or the most debased) warfare are well aware that emotional concussion blasts are far more effective than even the physical ones, with respect to the subjugation of a people.

All ye me cuzzins make good points.
The daily bombardment of negativity from the media is shellshocking that accumulates like crud in an unattended house. We can attack it daily with gentle rituals enuf to stave off the vermin, or we can team up and wipe it spotless in a day.
But...the next day it begins again.
To stop the source of the filth is another matter...one of revolutionary proportions. Sealing one's house airtight is not the answer. It can lead to suffocation.

I used Pathwork. I worked with Sage Walker who works out of Toronto. She is listed she is a Pathwork "helper"...The guide lectures wss the source material we used.

The ulitimate goal being undefended wholness.

Maybe you can help us in future notes..."undefended" is the hard part!!! Being alert for people who wish to harm us is a means of defense...How long can one survive undefended in the midst of predatory animals? It has to be a secret and delicate balance no doubt. And it might very well be mislabeled as insanity. Oh! the human condition!
